Painful Nipples are Cured with Bedazzle

Those first days of breastfeeding can be painful. Poor latch, tongue ties, lip ties... Oh My!! Even an 'Aggressive Nurser' can cause a new mom's nipples to blister. The magic of silver is now available to heal mama's ouchies without medications or salves. They just slide in to your bra and, BAM, the healing begins.

Why Silver? Because it's amazing!

Silver is absolutely amazing. Before antibiotics, silver was the most important antimicrobial agent available used for it's healing benefits. But unlike antibiotics, SILVER HAS NO SIDE-EFFECTS.

I had heard that the pioneers used a silver coin to prevent milk spoilage, but apparently it was also used in the 1800 to help wine, water, and vinegar stayed pure for longer periods of time when stored in silver vessels. Silver nitrate also was used successfully to treat skin ulcers, compound fractures, and suppurating wounds. AND YES, silver nitrate was once used to treat a newborn baby's eyes before the midwives carried the modern erythromycin ointment.

Silver has been used has been effective against almost all organisms tested and is particularly toxic to lower organisms. Unlike other heavy metals, there is no evidence that silver is a cumulative poison.

Silver sutures or placing a silver coin over a wound was a common usage and midwives today still use silver clamps for small perineal lacerations.

By 1800, there was wide acceptance that wine, water, milk,

and vinegar stayed pure for longer periods of time when

stored in silver vessels. Silver nitrate also was used success-

fully to treat skin ulcers, compound fractures, and suppurat

ing wounds
